Revlon Custom Creations™ Foundation…
During my weekly trawl of my favourite sites, I came across a new find…how cool is this?
Revlon’s come out with a Custom Creations™ Foundation, which allows for perfect customisation of your foundation to your skin tone. It comes in six colour combinations – Fair/Light, Light, Light/Medium, Medium, Medium/Deep and Deep, and each bottle has a clicker that you can twist (five settings) to fine-tune the foundation shade.
I like this concept – with the pump dispenser, the whole mixing process is clean…all I’d have to do is twist! :) The formula is also supposedly lightweight and comes with SPF15. And if you’ve got ever-changing skin tone like me (well, it’s not DRASTIC, but you know…when you get a tan, or if you haven’t been getting much sun…) this would definitely fix the problem of buying different shades.
However, one flaw I could see in this is that one side of the foundation will get used up faster than the other side – unless you’re a perfect three (in the middle) of course. But that aside, I’d love to try this out…just too bad that it’s only available in the US for now…*sigh*…why are we always the last to get these products (if they bring it in at all!)??
PS: Jessica Alba's the spokesmodel for this foundation - how yummy can the new mummy get? :D (sorry, I just couldn't resist the quip!)

I saw this in HK - found it gimmicky so I wasn't impressed. Fascinating concept though.
ooh! tht looks fascinating. cool cool cool.... very interesting indeed
Hmm... I've read a couple of reviews and the fact that if you're not a #3, you'd use up one side faster than the other which is gonna suck. Maybe we should just stick to painful task of finding the right foundation shade eh?
What? You guys don't have it there? IMPOSSIBLE! We have it here in the Philippines and you guys usually have stuffs first!
What an interesting concept! But terribly wasteful if you can't do individual refills...
parisb: well, I haven't seen it in the flesh yet, but I'd want to give it a try just for the heck of it.. :)
connie: hmmm...yes and no lor...hahaha...depends on your preference right? but the "one side faster than the other" would suck...
askmewhats: whaaatt?? you have it there??danngg...
rinnah: sigh...yeah, that's another aspect of it...
I suck at matching my own skin tone. Without professional help, I either look too pale like a ghost or too tanned like a ganguro girl. :/ But even with professional help, I still find myself stuck in the painful search for that perfect foundation that works like a second layer of skin.
omg!! Revlon is so brilliant!!
I think this is worth a try....
missmall: I feel your pain - there's sometimes too big a difference between shades..either end up looking too pale or too tan..
fashionasia: well, we'll have to see if they bring it in, no? :)
