My jaw just DROPPED when I saw this…whatever will they think of next??

This is the Wi-Fi Detector Shirt from ThinkGeek. Now, before you think that the pattern on the image above is flickering due to fancy patterns or textures, let me clarify that the glowing bars on the front of the shirt are actual Wi-Fi indicators. No more having to go through all the motions of booting up your laptop only to find out that there’s NO wi-fi available – what a anti-climax, right?

Thanks to the ingenious geeks at ThinkGeek, geek is now chic. The glowing bars on the front of the shirt change as the surrounding wi-fi signal strength fluctuates. You’ll be the focus of geeks everywhere! (wait, is that a good thing?) The shirt shows signal strength for 803.11b or 802.11g, and the animated decal is removable for easy washing.

I want me one of those but sadly ThinkGeek does not ship to Malaysia OR Singapore (but they ship to Thailand?!), so if you want one you’d probably have to order one, send to a friend in either the US, UK or Australia, and plead with them to either post it or bring it back for you! *sigh*…anyone willing to help out a soul in need??

And the price for geek chic? US$29.99…not too bad considering the current exchange rate.
