The Verdict:
Unexpected presents from friends are always a source of great delight, especially when they’ve been picked out with love. This little gift travelled quite a way to get here, and the gifter couldn’t have picked out a nicer item or colour. The shade I got was #101 – Shiny Grapefruit which is reminiscent of a shimmery “pink grapefruit” shade.

Given my penchant for pink grapefruit and all things citrus, it’s not surprising I went “ooo…grapefruit!!” the minute I saw it. Sadly it didn’t smell of grapefruit, but had more of a rose scent. The colour is lovely albeit slightly sheerer than what you see in the tube but feels simply smooth and glossy on my lips, not to mention lasts quite a while too. Truth be told, there isn’t much (if any) to not like about this lippie. Sadly this isn’t available locally, otherwise I’d have bought a few more just because! :D


L’Oreal Color Riche Shine Gelée is available in 11 shades. It was a gift from a friend (hence the lack of pricing), and is available in Australia as well as UK if I’m not mistaken.
