My DNP sale purchases…

Further to this last minute announcement on the DNP sale yesterday, I thought I’d give you all a preview of the items I bought…for some odd reason, I bought the only two monochromatic items in the room (everything else was a bit too colourful for my taste!)

First up is a white skirt with a black foliage motif…I never thought this kind of cut (ending exactly at the knee) would flatter me, but the design is surprisingly kind. I paid a bargain RM20 for this – considering that it’s linen. (I think the normal price was RM129)

Next was a black pleated skirt (I told you it was monochromatic!) with a white floral motif and silver sparkles throughout. And please don’t ask me what’s with all the floral designs…it just looked nice on the rack, and nice on me, k? :D This one I had to pay a bit more – RM40 – but well worth it. Not sure what the original price was since they snipped the tags, but I’m not too fussed as Dorothy Perkins and Top Shop usually cost upwards of RM100 for nicer items.

RM60 for the two skirts…what’s not to like? :D I didn’t get anything else since most of the tops there you’d have to try on to see the fit (and obviously there were no changing rooms there), so oh well…some other time. Can’t wait to wear my new skirts! *grins*

tine: But of course...they were even selling skirts with small stains (the white one) at RM1 EACH - but didn't know if the stain would come out, so didn't buy.
